Unit Twelve of Teaching the Bible (a 12-month complete Bible curriculum with hands-on lessons for toddlers and preschoolers), teaches a toddler and preschool child all about Heaven. By the end, your preschoolers and toddlers will know that God Wants us in Heaven with Him!
Lesson Overview
There are 2 hands-on Bible lessons for a preschooler or toddler in this unit on Heaven: What is Heaven Like? and Jesus is Coming Back. Each lesson should last about a week and has 6 hands-on activities for you to do with your child. There is one memory verse for your child to memorize.

What is Heaven Like?
This first lesson in the Heaven unit in the Teaching the Bible, a Bible curriculum for a toddler and preschool child is on What is Heaven Like? This lesson focuses on how Heaven is described in Revelation. The goal of this lesson is for your child to know that God Wants us in Heaven with Him. There is a memory verse for your child to learn with motions and a poster.

One of my favorite activities from this lesson is Write/Draw What You See. This is a great acitivity for all ages as children can draw or write at their own ability. This activity is a great way to talk about how the book of Revelation was written.
Jesus is Coming Back
This lesson is on Jesus’s second coming. It focuses on Jesus descibing his second coming in Mark 13. The goal of this lesson is for your child to know that God Wants us in Heaven with Him. Your child will work on the same memory verse as lesson 1.
My favorite activity from this lesson is the Jesus Coming Back Kabobs. These are super fun and easy to make for all kids. They also taste really good when dipped in vanilla yogurt!
