This week we finished the alphabet! We ended with Z is for Zebra. We also learned about zinnias and zippers. We reviewed numbers through 15 and reviewed the New Testament Bible story of Jesus Walking on Water.

Z is for Zebra

We started by talking about zebras. We learned that zebras live in Africa and near water and lots of grass for grazing. We also learned to write letter Z. After tracing the letter, we made our Z is for Zebra craft. Check out the crafts below for your own Z is for Zebra.

Zinnias

We learned all about zinnias today. We learned that they are flowers that have many small flowers in its center. We also talked about them growing from seeds. This is very appropriate because we just planted flowers in the front of our house that C helped with. She knows all about seeds and how flowers grow. We also made a paper zinnia.

Zipper

We talked about zippers today. We talked about how they work. She then zipped up different zippers all over the house. She loves making them work on her own.

Next week we are reviewing every thing we have learned all week with the theme of zoo.
