Sunday
Today we did church at home again. After church, we went out to lunch. A bit of normalacy in our lives. After naps, we watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse all afternoon because it was pouring outside. For dinner we had leftovers. After dinner we made strawberry ice cream. We didn’t get our KitchenAide attachment lined up correctly so we ended up stirring it by hand. It was a pain, but daddy and I switched up when we needed a break. It ended up working, but we learned our lesson to make sure everything is ready to go before making the ice cream. C loved it!
Monday
Today D had his 15 month appointment. Poor boy freaked out. He not only is hitting his separation anxiety right now, but he is never away from me or daddy because of COVID 19 restrictions. He doesn’t get to practice being around people and those he does see are wearing scary masks all the time. He got better with lunch from Chick-fil-a. After naps, we just stayed inside because D slept till 5pm! For dinner, we had enchiladas while the kids had tacos and quesadillas.
Tuesday
Today we had a play date with some friends at a local nature park. We walked around a bit and saw elk and bison. C and D had a blast. We even found a small pond where we could see frogs jumping all around. We came home and had sandwiches for lunch and then naps. After naps, I let the kids get the pool out. Our sweet neighbor brought over some tomatoes, corn, and cucumbers. We had leftovers for dinner and after dinner watched some Little Einsteins on Disney+.
Wednesday

Today, we did school this morning. We have been kinda pushing school off so today we got back on track. We started the morning with Reading Eggs, I will have our full review of this program at the end of August. C is liking the game like program so far. After lunch, we did a few Super Teacher Worksheets in C’s “M&Ms book.” This is an old folder of mine that I have been putting her worksheets in. It has been working very well because she can pick and choose what she wants to work on. Don’t forgot to check out my review of Super Teacher Worksheets in a few weeks. After lunch and naps, we played out front until Daddy got home. For dinner, we had pork chops and corn. I went shopping after dinner while Daddy put the kids to bed. It was like a small vacation!!
Thursday
Today, we played down in the play room because Daddy went into the office this morning. I cleaned while the kids played. After we played for a long time, we went upstairs for lunch. I cleaned upstairs while they played for a bit. During naps, I switched out the toys we have upstairs. I brought the slide, that D has discovered that he loves, upstairs. I also brought up the American Girl dolls and some furniture for C to play with. When they got up, they didn’t stop except for food! They love the new toys. We had left over pork chops and mac-n-cheese for dinner. Then we just played and went to bed!
Friday

Today, we had some more errands to run. One of those errands was to pick up a Buy Nothing package that I had waiting on another members porch. If you are not apart of the Buy Nothing Project, please look it up on Facebook. It is a project to connect you with your neighbors. It is not just about getting but about helping your neighbors. I am a local admin and have loved being apart of my group. This pick up was for some craft supplies for C. There was tons of stuff in this pickup. C was soo excited. She messed with the items the entire time we drove through Starbucks and the way home. Her favorite part was a huge highlighter. She highlighted Daddy’s hunting book (a hunting catalog we got a few weeks ago) during lunch. We also got part of their homeschool curriculum from Abeka. C loved the Mini Letter Cards. She lined the up in order. After she lined them all up, the kids went to bed for naps. We had pizza for dinner and just played until bed.
Saturday
Today I went out for a run, but my app stopped working (I figured it out while out though) so I ended up just going for a 2 mile walk. It was still a really nice way to start my day. After breakfast, I went to Costco for my monthly trip. We buy in bulk once a month to hopefully save a little money. While I was gone, Daddy took the kids outside to play in the water table. I stopped and pick up lunch for us all because Daddy was tired from chasing them while I was gone. After naps, we plan on just hanging out. I am thinking we might pull the water table back out or the pool. I hope to find some summer fun to post on Instagram for my Instagram challenge that starts today. I hope you can join me over at Instagram for the challenge this month.

Also today, I opened my Etsy store. I am super excited to bring my products to a new group of people. You can go over to my Etsy store here. I hope you have a great weekend!!
