Sensory Bin Fun - Teaching with Faith

This past weekend C got the most amazing package in the mail. It was a sensory bin package from Megan Russell at My Full Heart. I love sensory bins and so does C, but they are a pain to get together. I usually just leave her sensory bin for a few weeks because I hate storing everything and then starting over. This product is great because it takes no effort what so ever. Just pick the sensory bin you want and it all comes mailed to you! This is what we received.

I loved that there were two different base materials as well as all the extras to go in the materials. I usually just give C a bin with one material and then some scoops and spoons and she goes at it, but this was better because there were animals and shells as well as the base materials. This is how I put it in our sensory bin.

C loved it from the start. She has been asking for it every day! She was making waves the other day and hiding the gems. She also mixed the two materials some and then dug them back out. She also made shapes in the sand with the shells. The possibilities are endless.

I love that it came with a board book too! The animals and gems were a bit small for D to play with, but he could read the book. He loved that. I read that book to him at least 3 times.
