This week in preschool we learned about letter L. We focused on lions, listening, lamb, ladybugs, and letter carriers.

L is for Lion

We learned about lions. I reviewed how to make a big L and little L with C because they are letters we learned last year. C also made a L is for Lion craft. You can get your own copy HERE!

Listening

We played a listening game where I hid my phone with a timer in the room and had her find it. C had a blast. We worked on closing our eyes so that we don’t see where the timer was hid. C even hid it for me as well, but she would tell me where it was located.

Lamb

We talked about lambs and the fact that they are baby sheep. We sang Mary Had a Little Lamb. C thought it was funny that Mary brought her lamb to school. We also made a lamb by adding cotton balls to our worksheet.

Ladybugs

Today we focused on counting because ladybugs and their spots lend to counting perfectly. We used this worksheet from 123homeschool4me. C loves to paint so it was perfect for her. Sh was very careful in counting each lady bug’s spots.

Letter Carrier

We spent the morning talking about what a letter carrier was and what they did to help us. I had a great project where we would bake cookies and put it in a present and give it to our mail carrier, but COVID 19 had a different idea and we decided we would come back and do this later once there was not as much of a worry.
