This rectangle book was created for preschoolers or toddlers who recognize a rectangle but still need a bit of extra practice. Learning shapes, like rectangles, is important for young children because it helps them develop early math skills, such as understanding patterns and geometry, which lay the foundation for future mathematical concepts. At the end, the child can create their own picture using a variety of shapes. I suggest the parent or teacher pre-cut these out, as some may be small, and then the child can glue them down in any arrangement they like. C loves to glue, so this was perfect for her.
