Over the past month or so, we have had an amazing opportunity to use a Full 1- year membership with Unlimited downloads/access to Super Teacher Worksheets to enhance our summer learning. We have mainly been using the Pre-K and Kindergarten worksheets and activities.

Variety of Activities

My favorite thing about this subscription is the variety of worksheets and activities. One of C’s favorite activities I grabbed was the Counting Memory Match Game. She loves matching games and this one not only was a matching game, but she had to count the different items before matching.

We also really loved the tracing worksheets. I printed out the numbers 1-10 and made some mini books for C to work on. She loved tracing the numbers and writing the numbers on her own.

We have been starting our school day with the Daily Math Word Problems- Level K. This have been a great way to start the day because it is practicing counting, more or less, basic addition, etc. These are not new concepts to C, but some of them are presented in different ways that I hadn’t shown her yet.

We also did some of the letter and phonics activities. We used the Z letter book as we finished the last week of school. She loved being able to “read” the book. She colored the book all on her own. We also started putting letters together to make some words. She glued the letters down on her own to make “cat” and “ant.”

Other Features

Some other features that I love besides the variety of worksheets is how easy it is to navigate the website. The easiest way to navigate is by determining what subject you want to search first. Using the navigations on the side you can find a subject and then grade specific items.

BUT as we all know our kids are on different levels for different subjects, this makes it easy to find the placement you need for your child. C is way past letter sounds so I did more advanced ELA worksheets (Kindergarten and 1st grade), but her math skills need more work so we did the PreK and Kindergarten worksheets for math. We also have been introducing states and coins to her so it was easy for me to find worksheets on these for her to do even though they were not PreK worksheets.

Another great feature if you need it is a Common Core alignment search. You click on the grade you need and the standard and all the worksheets they have for that one standard is listed for you.

Another great feature is the worksheet generator. I personally did not use this feature, but probably will in the future. It is very simple. You answer a few questions and it will make your worksheet for you. This is great if your child needs help with a specific issue and you can’t find exactly what you want. Also there are crossword generators, abc order generators, flashcard generators, etc. which would all be great when we start spelling or sight words.

Super Teacher Worksheets is a great program to help you in your homeschool day. It is very easy to find what you need and then just print and go. This is great if you are traveling and don’t want to take too much, but need something to keep the learning going (we did this)! This is great if your child needs help with one item and you have exhausted all your tricks. This is great if you need some activities for your child to do quietly while you work with other children. All of these will help your child and your family. It is so easy, I highly recommend you look into the Unlimited download subscriptions that Super Teacher Worksheets offer.
