I am super excited about bringing you a new series called Toddler Activities. This week D is learning about the color RED. Here are just a sampling of what we did to help him learn the color red. I will be updating this post as we learn more about the color RED!

This week we are focusing on the letter M. Our bible story is Jesus Calms the Storm. Our shape is octagon and our color is purple. We finally made it to number 10!

So as you know we have been behind on our homeschool due to some crazy things that have happened at our house. After about 3 weeks of having our house torn apart from a water leak, we have a clean and put back together house. Between working, our house being torn up, doctors appointments for D, and just being tired from being pregnant we did a short catch up weekend (and 2 week days). We started on Saturday so daddy was able to help. He doesn’t like to be as messy as mommy just as a FYI!

This week we will be focusing on the letter L. Our bible story will be Jesus calling the disciples. Our color is brown and our shape is crescent (since C is obsessed with the moon). Our number is 9!

This week we were talking about the color yellow. C loves crafts that she can do most of the work so we incorporated our color into a cute giraffe cereal craft. I also reinforced shapes with the giraffe even though we haven’t reviewed our shapes officially, but any review is good review!!!! I hope you enjoy this craft as much as we did!

Our homeschooling has been disjointed this week due to having people work on our house. We had a containment center set up on the main floor to keep the drywall particles from getting to me (because I am pregnant). So we did crazy school this week. Here are some highlights from the week.
